• THANK YOU

for being the face and voice for protecting North Carolina’s natural resources – our streams, rivers and drinking water reservoirs; parkland and trails; working farms and forests; habitat for wildlife and unique, endangered species; urban “pocket parks” and greenways; and so many more irreplaceable wonders.

The 2012 North Carolina General Assembly will convene in May for its “short session.” Keep an eye on our website for information about how conservation funding is being affected. Mark your calendar – May 30 is Land and Water Conservation Lobby Day, when we’ll travel to Raleigh to tell lawmakers face-to-face why conservation is critical to our economic, environmental and physical health. Come with us!
